General Name/Nickname: Emily Age or Age Group: 34 Country: UK Pronouns: She/her
You Do you have any hobbies?: Travelling - I've lived abroad twice, and done a round the world trip. Listening to music and going to gigs, reading, writing, watching movies, TV, crochet and crafting. Do you have any interests, that wouldn't fall under a hobby?: Feminism. True crime. Any dislikes?: Bananas, spiders, bigotry. Much more I can't think of right now haha. Are you into fandom?: No What does your day to day look like?: Weekday - going to work! Weekend - hanging with my partner and cats, seeing friends.
Entertainment What do you like to watch?: True crime documentaries, comedies and serious dramas. Favourite show of all time is Parks & Recreation. What movies do you enjoy?: I like arty indie films mostly, also comedies and some action movies. Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: Yes, I like computer games like Sims, and also board/card games. If you like to read, what do you read?: I like autobiographies and feminist literature, plus classic fiction. What kind of music do you listen to?: All sorts! Mostly indie and alternative, but love a bit of pop too.
Journal & Friending What do you post about?: Life goings on, mainly. How often do you update?: Just joined DW from LJ and had got out of the habit of posting there - determined to start afresh with DW (made life-long and IRL friends via LJ!). I aim to post at least twice a month if not (hopefully) more. What do you look for in a DW friend?: Someone who engages, reads and comments, and has similar interest. What do you like to read about on your friends page?: Life updates from other people. Do you have any kind of friending policy?: Just that we have similar interests and/or friends in common. Do you have any deal-breakers?: If someone is bigoted, we're not going to get on. Is there anything others should know before friending?: Just that I'm getting back into journalling. If it's important for you that I update multiple times a week, I'm probably not the friend for you. But I love reading and commenting, and as I said before I am going to try and update at least twice a month if not more.
