Do you have any hobbies?: Cycling, walking photography, birdwatching (I do a lot of this and best of all, it's occasionally a part of my job!), train travel, dressmaking

Do you have any interests, that wouldn't fall under a hobby?: Umm, I'm not too sure.

Any dislikes?: Spiders :/

Are you into fandom?: Yes, Doctor Who, mostly. I do appreciate other fandoms.

What does your day to day look like?: Work, mostly. Get up at 5am for a run or cycle, shower then go to work. I do not work from home, and I hated it because I got too lonely during lockdown. On weekends and days off, I spend a lot of time outside. In the evenings, I read, play games (I am still playing Oblivion). I spend far too much time looking for stuff on Britbox. I also spend an alarming amount of time doomscrolling Twitter.

Entertainment

What do you like to watch?: Kitsch crime dramas like Father Brown, and fairly recently, Sister Boniface Mysteries. Doctor Who, obvs, whatever attracts my attention on TV.

What movies do you enjoy?: Again, whatever catches my eye. Last film I saw was The Batman.

Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: Elder Scrolls, currently replaying all of the Zelda games in order of history, not in order of publication.

If you like to read, what do you read?: Currently reading Romantic poets again. Used to be an English Lit lecturer. Like Angela Carter, V.S.Naipaul, Kate Atkinson, Tom Cox.

What kind of music do you listen to?: Metalllllll! But currently have Pet Shop Boys on at the moment.


Journal & Friending

What do you post about?: I've just started posting again after a long hiatus of about 10 years. My posts so far have been about work and funerals. The 2 are not related. I've had a look at my old LJ entries from about 2006 and honestly, I could die of embarrassment at a lot of them. I've deleted or made them private now.

How often do you update?: 3 times a week.

What do you look for in a DW friend?: Witty, a life that's similar to my own, or diametrically opposite. Don't have to like Doctor Who but no one is perfect. Hopes, dreams, nightmares. Long or short entries.

What do you like to read about on your friends page?: General musings, day to day life, the fandoms they're excited about, a book someone has fallen for, weird shit they've found on the internet somewhere, etc.

Do you have any kind of friending policy?: Not really, so long as there aren't spiders and insects involved.

Do you have any deal-breakers?: Extremism on either side, conspiracy theories.

Is there anything others should know before friending?: Yep, I'm probably a bit boring. Queen of the Boringers.
