You
Do you have any hobbies?: Yes. My wife and I run a sword fighting/fire performance group (mostly on weekends) We also are fond of museums and hope to resume going to a lot of them.
Do you have any interests, that wouldn't fall under a hobby?: I’ve been a big science fiction and fantasy fan since my sister introduced me to them back in the ‘60s.
Any dislikes?: Many.
Are you into fandom?: Not formally. But, I’ve been a Doctor Who fan for about 50 years now, Star Trek for almost 60 and Star Wars since 77.
What does your day to day look like?: For the last two years I’ve been doing most of my work from home. So, usually get up about 4:30, log into work about 5. Do a few hours of design work, then about 9 my meetings start. A good day they’ll end by 4 and I can cook dinner by the time my wife comes home.

Entertainment
What do you like to watch?: As above, I like a lot of Science Fiction and Fantasy stuff. Although a lot of modern fantasy isn’t doing it for me these day. I often like comedies, but certainly not all.
What movies do you enjoy?: I like a lot of movies. My favorites run to things like Time Bandits and Harvey.
Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: I play a lot of games. My old college roommate hosts a game night twice a month and I almost always attend. (In person or virtual depending on the situation.) I’m generally more for fun games than deep thinking ones. But, I like most. I don’t do a lot of video games. My wife and I used to do a lot of World of Warcraft, but not in a long time.
If you like to read, what do you read?: I used to think I read a lot, but my wife reads 10x what I do. I read a lot of history, science and science fiction stuff.
What kind of music do you listen to?: I’m told my tastes are eclectic….

Journal & Friending
What do you post about?: What’s going on in my life. Often sword troupe stuff. I post a lot of photos as they’re 1000 words each.
How often do you update?: Usually at least once or twice a week.
What do you look for in a DW friend?: Folks who want to share things.
What do you like to read about on your friends page?: I’m not that picky
Do you have any kind of friending policy?: I’m not into hate and will de-friend folks for that. Not here to do politics and such. I have strong feelings about things, just don’t tend to put it here.
Do you have any deal-breakers?: Hate
Is there anything others should know before friending?:Probably…

I’m not after folks who think the same as me. I’ve very strong on the idea that a diverse group of folks is a good thing.
