What does your day to day look like?: retired, so very little routine, whatever I want to do!

Entertainment
What do you like to watch?: mysteries, science fiction & fantasy, spy shows, apocalyptic stuff, classic screwball comedies, suspense, sometimes I get glued to the news
What movies do you enjoy?: pretty much the same as above item. Star Wars original trilogy are my fave movies ever
Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: not much of a gamer
If you like to read, what do you read?: science fiction, fantasy, mysteries, spy, apocalyptic and post-apocalytic - are we sensing a trend?
What kind of music do you listen to?: rock and pop from the 60's on up, classical (soft spot for Debussy and Mozart), big bands, swing. Pretty much anything with a bit of bounce to it.

I'm really into decluttering and organizing right now with an impending move, and would love to gear what you're doing. I' m also into reading (I'm a librarian) and used to bed into swimming, but don't have access to a pool right now. Is it okay if I add you?

May I add you? I am just getting started here on DW but I've been blogging/online journaling for years and years. It sounds like we have some things in common. I DO have kids that I post about, so not sure if you are up for that. I post about daily life, cooking, home stuff, etc.

I don't mind kidlet posts, I once had a young'un of my own. :-) Daily life posts are so much fun, though! It's amazing how different all our lives can be.

Hope you don't mind I'm adding you! I'm fannish and love some of the same genres, though I'm in my 20s if the age disparity bothers you.

Age disparity is not a problem for me, so it sounds like we're good. Hope to get to know you better.

We share a couple of interests (reading, swimming, cooking)and my dislikes are pretty much the same as yours. I would like to try being friends, but I have to say that sad/depressed posts happen for me once in a while since I do deal with mental illness. Considering you mentioning your optimistic nature, I felt like I should give that caveat so you can decide if you would rather pass on being friends or not. I would definitely not be offended if you say no :)

I'm happy to add you to my circle, my only concern is that my extreme positivism may annoy you! I have several friends who struggle with emotional and mental health issues, so your presence is certainly not a bother to me.
