1. LJ to DW Friending Meme!
We're fresh from a revamp so here's a new friending meme to get us started!

This friendzy was made to help those who are coming over from Livejournal! HOWEVER, you don't have to be coming over from livejournal to take part in this friendzy. Everyone is welcome to join in and post their form below, whether you're a Dreamwidth veteran or have only been on Dreamwidth and not LJ. The more, the merrier :D

Name/Nickname: Lydia
Age or Age Group: mid thirties
Country: Netherlands
Pronouns: she/her
You
Do you have any hobbies?: reading, watching movies, knitting, playing the ukulele
Do you have any interests, that wouldn't fall under a hobby?: history, feminism, politics, general nerdery/geekery
Any dislikes?: bigots, injustice (yes I sound like a boring bluestocking, but honestly that's pretty much what I'm like in real life too, so *shrug*)
Are you into fandom?: not really. I read plenty of fanfic back in the day but have fallen out of it and fandom does not play in any role in my journal.
What does your day to day look like?: working (I'm a journalist for a niche publication), taking care of my kids (3 and 6 years old), reading a book, watching BBC, avoiding housework
Entertainment
I started filling this in but then scrapped the whole thing because I rarely post about this anyway. Except very rarely the books I read.
Journal & Friending
What do you post about?: my daily life, but not in a daily sense: the things that are different, the things I want to remember. How I'm feeling, how my kids are doing, the places we go. Also my husband, I just noticed I hadn't mentioned him yet. :') How I feel about world events.
How often do you update?: every one or two weeks. I generally average out around 4 entries a month.
What do you look for in a DW friend?: occassional commenting (definitely doesn't need to be every entry but don't be completely silent either), some sense of shared experiences and values (I like to read about people with kids in a similar age bracket, for example, and don't like right wing politics).
What do you like to read about on your friends page?: Just what my friends are up to. Though you don't need to document every detail. I'm a busy working mom, sorry, so I tend to skim the very long entries.
Do you have any kind of friending policy?: Not really.
Do you have any deal-breakers?: If you're on the right wing of the political spectrum, anti vax, anti abortion, etc, we probably won't get along.
Anything else? I'd really like more DW friends from Europe.

Add? I'm not from Europe though, I'm from Mexico.
