Hobbies and Interests What are your current interests and/or hobbies?: Taking walks with Hubby, sewing, cooking, video games, and writing. I'd call music a hobby too, because it's fun creating playlists on youtube music and I sing. There are many things I have an interest in, including jewelry making, yoga, learning about nature, late night car rides, photography, weather, coding (html/css), graphic/web design, watching youtubers, watching shows/anime and learning a different language. There are many more, but those are the ones that come to mind.
Do you participate in these hobbies or interests daily?: Yes! Though not lately, I usually sew and play video games everyday. I watch TV semi-daily and watch youtube many times a day.
Is your hobby or interest your job? Would you like it into a job?: Not currently, but I'd love to make a job of selling handmade stuff! Taking part in craft shows sound wonderful (once the pandemic has calmed down more
If applicable, what's your greatest achievement/creation from a hobby or interest?: Oooof, not much, unfortunately, but I've at least accomplished making decent and usable masks. I've also been proud of how much I've improved in making scrunchies. I still have many things to learn, though. I've managed to learn some Japanese words too.
Are there any hobbies you'd like to get into?: I'd like to learn how to make candles and bath bombs! I'd like to eventually learn how to crochet and knit, too.
If you're into collecting something, what is it?: Strange enough, clothing and accessories! My reason being that I love matching themes, such as sunflower jewelry and accessories to match sunflower print clothing. I like "collecting" different flavors of tea and coffee to try out! And lastly, I like collecting crystals, despite my collection being very small.
Do you have a "main" hobby or interest, one that you participate in more than others?: Kind of. I participate in the hobby that I'm in the mood for. Sometimes that's gaming, sometimes, sewing, and sometimes writing. I guess those would be my main 3. Hubby and I actively watch youtube every night before going to bed.
Do you want more friends that participate in a specific hobby or interest? If so, what is it?: I always welcome any new friends! Gaming and sewing friends would be a plus, but not required.
Is there anything about your hobby or interest that annoys you?: Cost is really the only thing. Video games are expensive. Fabric can be expensive and sometimes it's hard to find a specific print if you're looking for one.
Do you participate in your hobby or interest for fun or relaxation? Both?: Both. I'd go so far as to say that I use writing and video games as an escape from my depression. They're both relaxing. Food is (unfortunately) relaxing to me so making coffee or tea when I'm stressed out can help, even if only a little.
And lastly, do you prefer to participate in your hobby/interest alone or with someone? I thrive on playing video games with Hubby. We very much enjoy walking downtown together and I enjoy when he helps me with my sewing
