The Basics
Name: Rina
Age: 38 years old
Pronouns: She/her
Country: Germany

The New Year
Do you have any resolutions?: *ahem* I have 73 of them as of now. :D (But hey, the bigger the chance I will reach at least some of them!)
Are there any new books, music, games, shows, etc. that you want to dive into?: I just finished my first book for this year (Which is a kid's book set around seals, the North Sea, etc.), and started the second (Austin Kleon's "Show Your Work!". I really enjoyed "Steal Like An Artist", so this was a logical follow-up, I guess :D.). I want to read more in general. There are multiple genres I like, alongside non-fiction / self-help books and children's crime stories :), of course. I really like fantasy and would love to dive into sci-fi, too. Historical stories are cool, too, as are those set in countries I love (Japan, Finland, Italy, ...) and those circling around music one way or another :). Music-wise, I am really open towards a lot, but I want to dive more into goth and punk again, because it makes me feel nostalgic. Games'd be "Harvey's New Eyes" maybe? Hm.
Are there any small or big events that you're planning for this year?: Getting back into university / university of applied sciences. Maybe even, if I can do this, a music college. At least, I want to really have a decent education. I love learning.
Any new interests/hobbies that you'd like to try out?: Sewing, embroidery, crocheting, knitting, weaving, darning/mending, ...
Did you accomplish your resolutions from last year?: I wish I remembered which resolutions I had? Maybe training my memory?
What were your favorite memories from the past year?: Maybe going to DBT skills group. I got along well with the fellow patients, and it really helped a lot. I just feel bad because I struggle keeping contact with people in times of severe depression.
Do you have any new years traditions?: Doing tarot readings (Though I did mine a few days before NYE.).
Is there anything you'd like to do more of in 2023?: Travelling, making music, songwriting, singing, creative writing.

The New Friends
What kind of friend(s) are you searching for?: People who are kind, open-minded, authentic, and creative. :)
What do you like to read about?: I really enjoy reading about other people's creative endeavors and ideas and ideals and whatever lights their flame. It makes me happy to be in the presence of people who follow their calling.
How often do you check your friends feed?: Weekly.
Do you have any deal-breakers?: Animal abuse, racism, fascism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.
Do you mind reading about fandom?: Not really. :) If it makes you happy, that is fine. However, please know showing your colours either way is much appreciated and welcome.
If so, what fandoms would you like to read about?: None in particular. With some, I have heard of them, but never watched them for real... Maybe "Bob's Burgers" and "BBC Ghosts" and "Futurama", because I really enjoy these series?

Currently...
Reading: Austin Kleon - "Show Your Work!"
Watching: The last movie I saw was Walt Disney's "Tarzan" yesterday.
Playing: I played a game against my cat and my sister yesterday, in which we guessed the next cards. I got five points, my sister, too... My cat won, though. :D
Thinking about: How it was possible my cat won against me. This calls for revenge!
Hobby/Interest: Singing, playing the electric guitar and the keyboard, listening to music, watching movies (the sappier or wackier, the better), travelling, learning languages, creative writing, animals (esp. pinnipeds), drawing, painting, reading, dancing, martial arts, ...
Planning for: DOOM and GLOOM.
