Hobbies and Interests What are your current interests and/or hobbies?: patchwork quilting, english-paper-piecing (EPP), permaculture gardening, cooking, clothes-making. Do you participate in these hobbies or interests daily?: cooking, yes; permaculture gardening, usually; quilting, no; clothesmaking, no. Is your hobby or interest your job? Would you like it into a job?: No, and no. If applicable, what's your greatest achievement/creation from a hobby or interest?:
Completing the Duct Tape Galaxy quilt (I didn't design it, but the process of finishing it is pretty intricate).
Are there any hobbies you'd like to get into?: Heck, no! If you're into collecting something, what is it?: Fabric? No, wait, I curate fabric. But I really need to use more of it faster, I've been very lackadaisical the last few years. Do you have a "main" hobby or interest, one that you participate in more than others?: permaculture gardening because it's good, cooking because it's needful. Do you want more friends that participate in a specific hobby or interest? If so, what is it?: I'd love to meet more in the craft areas, to be honest: fellow quilters or EPP-ers. Is there anything about your hobby or interest that annoys you?: The need for space: storage and design/cutting space. Do you participate in your hobby or interest for fun or relaxation? Both?: Both. And lastly, do you prefer to participate in your hobby/interest alone or with someone? I find I do better when I have someone to keep me accountable. About a dozen years back there was a regular "Work In Progress (WIP) Wednesday" blogpost by various US quilters that attracted hundreds of people. Except that those women gradually shifted to doing more stuff with their family, and quilting 'fandom' ended up shifting to instagram. I still keep a blog, but I don't post there very often. It's hard to remember.

If not, do you mind reading about it?: Yes, I do post about fandom; no, I don't mind reading about it, although I may skim over it if it's not a fandom I'm familiar with or interested in. Do you have any deal-breakers?: Not that I can think of that I'd commonly come across here on DW.
