Hobbies and Interests
What are your current interests and/or hobbies?:
Writing fanfic, making icons, rping on Dreamwidth, stalking and annoying and taking too pictures of my cats, cycling, yoga, reading, livetweeting shows, walking, listening to the same song on repeat until it loses all meaning, and social media.
Do you participate in these hobbies or interests daily?:
Attempts are often made. 😬 Surely, it counts if I think about them?
Is your hobby or interest your job? Would you like it into a job?:
Social media is a big part of my job and is why I take an interest in it. Sometimes, cat photos and using Photoshop comes in handy, too.
If applicable, what's your greatest achievement/creation from a hobby or interest?:
Using my interest in social media at my job. I also think writing fanfiction over the years has improved my writing skills and has prompted my interest in learning more about writing/ deep-diving into ways I can improve, which, in turn, affects my job…
Are there any hobbies you'd like to get into?:
I'd like to try and write original fiction (it's been years). I'd like to try and finish my paint by numbers (poor thing is sitting forgotten!) and also possibly get into making paper origami art. I cook sometimes and am slowly getting into making some things for the sake of trying.

Do you want more friends that participate in a specific hobby or interest? If so, what is it?:
The one thing I like about online journalling is seeing everyone's different interest and hobbies, especially when there's photographs to show them off. I'd love to be friends with people who show off their art and like being asked nosy questions about their process… and I also wouldn't mind being friends with anyone who likes to write and anyone who is comfortable talking about their mental health.
And animal photos. That's the big one.
Is there anything about your hobby or interest that annoys you?:
Not having enough time; there not being enough hours in the day. Sometimes it can be tough to spend hours being creative to receive little feedback. Getting back into a hobby after falling out of it can be rough.
Do you participate in your hobby or interest for fun or relaxation? Both?:
Both.
And lastly, do you prefer to participate in your hobby/interest alone or with someone?
Usually alone, but with the more physically active ones, I prefer to do them with someone else.
General Journaling
How often do you post?:
I try and post at least once a week, but I can go weeks without posting. I check my friends list daily.
Do you post about your interest or hobby? If not, what do you post about?:
I often post about work, life, mental health, writing, statuses of projects, thoughts on media I've consumed, and post pictures of my cats.
What do you like to read about on your friends page?:
Their interests! What they're up to! Their projects, etc. I like it when friends ask for advice as well. But most of all… posting animal pictures.
Do you post about fandom? If not, do you mind reading about it?:
I post about fandom.
Do you have any deal-breakers?:
No anti-vax, anti-choice, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, etc. I post about things to share and also talk about them and I appreciate sharing them with people who are empathetic and share their experiences (or don't—it's not a requirement to friend me and you have to share). Sometimes I just want to complain to get something out of my system and I appreciate it when people recognise that and just let me complain without trying to heavy-handedly fix it.
