The New Year Do you have any resolutions?: Nothing specific, only to do well this year. Are there any new books, music, games, shows, etc. that you want to dive into?: I just wrote a journal excerpt, but I'm planning on reading more disability literature this year. I don't really have anything else in mind, so I'll go along with the flow. Are there any small or big events that you're planning for this year?: Currently planning the Lunar New Year celebration at my university. In the beginning stages of planning the university's Cherry Blossom festival. I thought I would graduate in 2023, but I think I may have to postpone to 2024, which I'm very disappointed in. Any new interests/hobbies that you'd like to try out?: Not exactly new, but I'm looking forward to getting back in baking again this year. I bought a KitchenAid mixer at long last! What were your favorite memories from the past year?: 2022 was kinda rough, but I won a few awards, which I was very happy about. I also got an internship in a field I never thought I would be able to get in, so I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn more. Do you have any new years traditions?: I don't really celebrate New Year, but I do celebrate Lunar New Year as a Chinese American person. Is there anything you'd like to do more of in 2023?: A friend invited me to rock climb (in a gym) two months ago, and I would like to continue rock climbing this year.
The New Friends What kind of friend(s) are you searching for?: I'm open-minded, but as long as we have something in common and our personalities mesh well, I'm happy. What do you like to read about?: I usually love to read fantasy/science fiction, but in the last couple years or so, I've been expanding my horizons to other genres, such as memoirs, historical, romance, and more. I'm of the opinion that as long as it's a good story, I'll enjoy it regardless. My only exception is horror. How often do you check your friends feed?: Once a day at least. Do you have any deal-breakers?: Don't be a weirdo or mean. I don't tolerate bigotry, including but not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, Nazism, fascism, etc... Would rather not deal with any purity police or anyone under 21 years old too. Do you mind reading about fandom?: I'm super into fandoms, but I don't really like the fandom drama. Long as we mostly stick to discussing the interests, we're good. If so, what fandoms would you like to read about?: I'm quite open to a lot, but for starters I'm really into manga/light novels/etc.

Lukewarmly thinking about summer internships and graduation. Hobby/Interest: Consuming fantasy stories in any form. Disability justices/rights. Cooking/baking. Eating. Planning for: Survival in this year, as usual.
