The New Year Do you have any resolutions?: More like "goals". Are there any new books, music, games, shows, etc. that you want to dive into?: Waiting diligently for the new Baldur's Gate game to come out and Severence Season 2. Are there any small or big events that you're planning for this year?: This year I am planning on getting a puppy. Woohoo. Any new interests/hobbies that you'd like to try out?: No, but I very much want to stick to the hobbies I currently have and improving them! Unless you count training my future new dog a new hobby. Did you accomplish your resolutions from last year?: (If not, that's okay. Just skip this one) Some! What were your favorite memories from the past year?: Honestly, my family and I spent half the year sick. Either from Covid, the flu, or a cold. This year flew by and I don't feel like I accomplished anything big that I wanted to. Hopefully 2023 will be different! Do you have any new years traditions?: Nope, but my kids stayed up until midnight for the first time. And they were less tired than my partner and I were! Is there anything you'd like to do more of in 2023?: I want to feel more accomplished.
The New Friends What kind of friend(s) are you searching for?: Active people who post about their lives. What do you like to read about?: I love reading about people's lives, no matter how mundane they think they are. Long winded entries are my fav. I'm very anti-one liner entries. How often do you check your friends feed?: Daily. Do you have any deal-breakers?: No Trumpers or anti-vaxxers. Also, looking for consistency. Pet peeve is when people add me and then never bother posting again (or pop up every two months). I've been on LJ/DW since I was 15 years old in 2001. I am consistent and am looking for others to be the same. Do you mind reading about fandom?: I do like fandom, but I don't have a huge interest in reading about it on DW. If so, what fandoms would you like to read about?: Not looking for fandom friends. Occasional posts about something you read, played, or watched, sure. But I mostly love to read about people's lives, kids, relationships, jobs, etc.
Currently... Reading: Harrow the Ninth Watching: Alice in Borderlands Season 2 Playing: Nothing right now, maybe occasional Sims 4. Thinking about: My kids (4 and 6). Hobby/Interest: Planner things, photography, watercolor, animation, dog training. Planning for: A dog!
