The New Year
Do you have any resolutions?: yes, they are in a friends only entry on my journal, but a few examples are...
-Maintain $6K in savings
-Finish my LCSW hours and get my LCSW license by 2024
-Read at least 1 book per month
Are there any new books, music, games, shows, etc. that you want to dive into?: I have a ton of books I want to read and shows I want to start or rewatch. I want to finish Dopesick, try to get into Gilmore Girls (again lol), finish Virgin River season 4, and start Emily in Paris.
Are there any small or big events that you're planning for this year?: I am going to Costa Rica in May, Bahamas in June, and Portugal in September so far 😀
Any new interests/hobbies that you'd like to try out?: Biking, photography, learning Spanish.
Did you accomplish your resolutions from last year?: (If not, that's okay. Just skip this one) Some of them, yes. I have a comprehensive list that I do every year.
What were your favorite memories from the past year?: Meeting my friend Angelique, traveling to Greece, cruise to Mexico.
Do you have any new years traditions?: I usually spend it with my best friend Stephen and this year was no exception!
Is there anything you'd like to do more of in 2023?: Read and WRITE. I am trying to write a memoir about my journey with addiction but writer's block suuuucks.

The New Friends
What kind of friend(s) are you searching for?: Supportive yet honest friends who hold me accountable and who want to create a deeper connection offline or on other platforms rather than just being friends on DW.
What do you like to read about?: Day to day life! I love reading about people's thoughts, fears, relationships, realizations, and just things that happen every day.
How often do you check your friends feed?: at least once or twice a day.
Do you have any deal-breakers?: Not so much, I am pretty open-minded to anyone and easygoing. The only things I do not care to read about are tarot, horoscope, and witchcraft type stuff. Just not my thing. I am happy to still be a friend but I likely won't comment on those 😅 please feel free to filter me on those posts.
Do you mind reading about fandom?: I'm OK with it if it is every now and again. If that is your entire journal, probably shouldn't add me since I will never comment.
If so, what fandoms would you like to read about?: None.

Reading: It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover.
Watching: Smallville (reruns) & Virgin River.
Playing: None... not a gamer.
Thinking about: My first day of work tomorrow.
Hobby/Interests: Writing, reading, photography, blogging, Smallville (forgot how much I love the show lol).
Planning for: Travel this year, specifically the financial aspect.
