I found a fascinating article about how more diversity of birdsongs leads to improved mood, so I wrote a post about it. This is so interesting, and I believe it! Hearing birds is always such a comfort to me, but I had not considered the diversity aspect. Will read your post for sure! I have a few woodsy parks near me where I love to go because I hear lots of birds, and I need to make time to do this more often.

When I'm upset, I go outside. It always calms me down. I can fill up a whole room with emotion, but not the whole outdoors. It just leaches away.
