What do you post about: Work (academic science), my 8 year old, spouse, books read. Writing (which is kind of in a slump, haha), daily life stuff.

I make a daily birdfeeding/gardening post. Today's Adventures and Today's Cooking are intermittent. I've been posting yard pictures as things bloom.

My involvement with birds is limited to the bird feeder in our yard that the squirrels attack! :)

There's a birdfeeding if you're into that.

Aside from the usual squirrel-resistant feeders, you might consider something like squirrel-a-whirl.
