Hi! I'm also one of those who used LJ for many years and still trying to make a home here on DW. I post mostly about daily life stuff, with the occasional dose of current media. I will talk about world issues, but rarely; totally get where you're coming from with that. I'm bombarded constantly elsewhere, too.

No kids, just two cats and a husband in our first home. You can see my answers to this frenzy here and I just updated my profile to finally add some interests. My media-only posts are also public, but everything else is friends-only.
