Do you have any hobbies?: Photography, planners, watercolor, plants, reading, fitness. I dabble in a lot of things but am ridiculously average at them all, rofl.
Do you have any interests, that wouldn't fall under a hobby?: My two kids (3 and 5).
Any dislikes?: Trumpers, anti-maskers, anti-vaxxers, racists.
Are you into fandom?: Not particularly.
What does your day to day look like?: Roll out of bed to the bathroom, roll to my office, and animate for TV. Go down for lunch, hug my kid, go back up, animate some more until dinner. Lots of animating, basically. I work half a year on, half a year off-ish. So half the time I'm an animator for TV, the other half of the time I'm a SAHM.

Entertainment
What do you like to watch?: Dramas, reality TV, thrillers. I'm really into documentaries on Netflix lately.
What movies do you enjoy?: A lot of movies. My favorite is the very underrated Edge of Tomorrow, I think.
Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: Yes! My favorite would have to be Dragon Age: Inquisition and Death Stranding. I also like things like Animal Crossing. I'm working my way through Pokemon Legends Arceus right now.
If you like to read, what do you read?: I read 61 books last year. I've read 0 so far 2022, but I'll get back to it soon when my work is on hiatus. I really like thrillers and mysteries and the occasional romance.
What kind of music do you listen to?: It can range from Metallica to Taylor Swift. I like lots of types of different music.

Journal & Friending
What do you post about?: Work, my kids, friends, my awesome partner Sam who is an editor for TV. I post lots of pictures as well. Most of the time it's just iPhone pictures, but once a month or so, I'll have a photo dump of pics from my good camera. I also occasionally post developed film pictures I have taken as well.
How often do you update?: I post about every other day or so, and have since 2001 when I was 15.
What do you look for in a DW friend?: I only want active people. I've been consistent since 2001. Too many people add me and are like, "I'm coming back to LJ/DW!" but then never post again. Or they post once a month, and I have no clue what they're writing about.

I'm all about fostering relationships with people via comments and reading each other's entries. I don't need everyone to comment on my entries, but I like to know they're reading me just like I'm reading them.

What do you like to read about on your friends page?: I love long rambley entries about people's lives. I don't care how mundane they think it is. I want to read all about awesome (or shitty) coworkers, friends, relationships, kids, pets. Anything about life. Pictures are a bonus. Not really big on fandom and I don't really get a lot from one lined or single paragraphed entries.
Do you have any kind of friending policy?: I do like people to tell me a little about themselves before they add me. Name, age, where they're from, what they do, what they're into. So I don't go into their entries blind.
Do you have any deal-breakers?: If you voted for Trump and you still stand by him, I'm not very interested in being your DW friend.
Is there anything others should know before friending?: Nothing I didn't say above.

Hi, we share a few interests, dislikes, and things we're looking for in a DW friend. I feel it's difficult to get to know anyone if there's no commenting ever, also. I write mainly about my day-to-day, or things I'm pondering at the time. My journal's access-locked, but if we add one another, you'll be able to view an intro that gives background and more info about me. Would you like to give it a try?

Hi there! Also a planner junkie, into video games, other things. I work with animators, so that’s interesting to me (I’m a story writer in gamedev, and my husband is a producer in gamedev so I guess we have “work in same industry as partner” in common, too.). We have a 3 year old kiddo.

OMGosh, what is about Edge of Tomorrow? It's such fun, and somehow just disappeared. We watch it semi-regularly (we call it Rinse and Repeat).

I'd love to be friends; I'm also into planners (but somehow, I haven't found The Right One yet), plants, and working from home (in my case, writing). I post a few times a week; I used to post much more often and I'm working my way back to that, because I miss having a daily record.
