Any dislikes?: conservative politics (ie. Trump), violent video games, torture porn, reality shows, humiliation comedy - where the gag is physical humiliation or embarrassment comedy, racism, misogyny, sexual violence, homophobia, transphobia or anti-trans.
Are you into fandom?: not at the moment...although I am kind of flirting with the soap and comic fandoms on Twitter. Also the romance writers on twitter. Was in Buffy fandom back in the day.

What do you like to watch?: I've broad eclectic tastes - so just about everything. Currently? General Hospital, Legacies, Bridgerton, The Expanse, Mare of East Town, Yellowstone, This is Us, Million Little Things, Yellowjackets, New Amsterdam, Superman & Lois, K-Dramas, Emotional Dramas, Superhero dramas - WandaVision, Falcon & the Winter Solider, Hawkeye, Loki, Anime, Sandition, Doctor Who, All Creatures Great & Small, Dr. Oakley Yukon Vet, Pixar, Mandalorian, Star Trek: Discovery, The Gilded Age...the list kind of goes on and on.
What movies do you enjoy?: Pretty much everything except for torture porn and gory horror films, also not a fan of documentaries. Love Science Fiction, Thrillers, Superheros (MCU or DC), Indie, Dramas, Family Dramas, Comedy, Rom-Com, Fantasy, etc.
Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: Currently playing the video game Redecorate - where you use various fake cash reserves to buy fake items and redecorate various rooms on your phone. I like games like that - puzzle games. Dominoes. Anything with patterns. Also been playing Wordl. I am not a vidder, and don't like role playing games for some reason, also not a fan of board games. I have enjoyed chess or strategy games.
If you like to read, what do you read?: See above - very eclectic in my taste and moody. I'll read most anything, right now I'm on a romance novel kick - because I need a happy ending, where things are resolved with love not violence, and folks are redeemed and its hopeful. But I binged mystery novels in the past. Love science fiction, fantasy, contemporary, literary (to the extent such a thing exists), comics, poetry, classics (or anything not written in the 19th Century),
plays, etc.
What kind of music do you listen to?: See above - eclectic taste. I like everything with few exceptions. And I'll try everything to see if I like it. So pretty broad. Currently into Jazz, Classical, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Alternative, Classic Rock, Indie, Acoustic, Country-Western Folk,

What do you post about?: Everything or whatever comes to mind. Lately been doing a daily post about my life during the pandemic (but that will end on March 17 - on the 2 year anniversary).
How often do you update?: Daily - but that will most likely end on March 17.
What do you look for in a DW friend?: Flexibility, sense of humor, kindness, and curiousity
What do you like to read about on your friends page?: Book reviews, movie reviews, television reviews, theater reviews, film reviews, recommendations, interesting things they are doing at work or at home, trips they've taken, photos, etc.
Do you have any kind of friending policy?: I wait a while to friend back - check them out, and determine if the person is legit. Most of my stuff is public though.
Do you have any deal-breakers?: Attacking me in my own journal will piss me off and get someone unfriended or loss access. Do not attack me in my journal. You can fact check or disagree - but be polite about it. I don't mind polite disagreement - I'm often wrong. Also outright racism, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny are deal breakers.
Is there anything others should know before friending?: I'm liberal? And opinionated? Also snarky, have a dark sense of humor with a very dry wit - that doesn't always come across well on social media? I make fun of everything including myself?

We share some fandoms in common (The Expanse, Doctor Who, The Mandalorian, kdramas), and I also have quite an eclectic taste in media. I enjoy writing reviews, and just overall talking/reccing, about some of the pieces of fiction I've been consuming and and I love talking with others who also like or are interested in those things, too.
