The New Year Do you have any resolutions?: I avoid resolutions and think of soft goals, like "write more, draw more, read more." I compare this year to last year, and considering how little I did of it all last year, I feel pretty good this year. Are there any new books, music, games, shows, etc. that you want to dive into?: There are some new seasons of anime coming out, including Bungou Stray Dogs and the recent season of BNHA. Everything is on hold until I finish Detective Conan. (It'll be a while. uwu;; ) Are there any small or big events that you're planning for this year?: None at all. Any new interests/hobbies that you'd like to try out?: I would really like to learn to reliably knit. I know how to knit, but I can't actually do it and would like to change that. I'm also kinda interested in acrylic pouring, painting, and sculpting and looking to try them out this year. Hopefully. Did you accomplish your resolutions from last year?: I can't remember what they are and know I wrote them down somewhere. I probably accomplished a couple about crocheting, because I know I wanted to make gifts for my family last year and did manage to. What were your favorite memories from the past year?: I remember very little, and what I do remember are negative things. Do you have any new years traditions?: On NYE, my family has prime rib, and I marathon Thin Man movies. Is there anything you'd like to do more of in 2023?: Read more books, write more stories, crochet more things...
The New Friends What kind of friend(s) are you searching for?: Ideally, I look for relatively active users, whether posting or commenting; that's the main criterion. People who don't mind kaomojis, too. (´；ω；`) What do you like to read about?: personal lives, crafty and creative projects How often do you check your friends feed?: I check at least weekly, sometimes more. Do you have any deal-breakers?: the usual -phobics and anti-s, minors Do you mind reading about fandom?: If all someone posts about is fandom, then it's kind of boring to me. If it's every so often about fandom, then whatever. I don't mind. Especially if it's a fandom I'm somewhat familiar with or could get interested in.
