Hey, you sound like my kind of journaller. I share your enthusiasm for learning (wish I could go back to uni! Maybe when my kids are older) in general and languages in particular. I just read your intro. You sound super nice, and it would be a pleasure to get to know you better~!! :) (I am one quarter Italian, btw. Don't know if this counts as interesting information, but it is true. My grandfather on my mum's side of the family was from Italy actually, and I hope I can visit his hometown in this lifetime for real someday. I have been trying to teach myself Italian for this reason, but not only that; I find Italian to be a really lovely language, with lots of great expressions :).)
