Do you have any hobbies?: I think the biggest one is probably that I am a ~creator~ or whatever on YouTube. I upload videos twice a week about toy and doll collecting, taste tests of international and domestic snacks, field trip vlogs of local day trips and sometimes other places, and basically anything that I think might be fun and interesting to both make and for people to watch. I also stream on Twitch, where I play all the video games I wasn't allowed to as a kid and then some. Those are the big ones.
Do you have any interests, that wouldn't fall under a hobby?: I play Pokémon Go? I appreciate the IRL friends and networking it allows/allowed me before All This. I also really like axolotls, a definitely more than average amount.
Any dislikes?: Harry Potter.
Are you into fandom?: No, not at all.
What does your day to day look like?: I work usually from 7-4, depending on if I'm on a field job or not. When I get home, I get a shower almost immediately and my husband and I trade off on making dinner. If I'm not cooking I'm likely editing some videos or watching a friend stream. Three nights a week I go live around 9pm; the other nights I hole up on the sofa and watch some Food Network or Youtube before going to sleep. Weekends are a mixed bag of day trips and not, but always a little different.

What do you like to watch?: Food Network. A lot of Food Network. Game shows, Western animated series and some anime, MST3K, and a lot of Youtube. I mostly watch friends in the doll community, plus size vloggers, road trip channels and some gaming content. (Mostly Super Beard Bros and other TOVG series at this point.)
What movies do you enjoy?: I'm gonna be super honest, I do not often have the patience to sit through a whole ass movie these days. If it's like, less than an hour and a half long, we're in business. Stuff I've seen that I've really liked: Beetlejuice, Gremlins 1+2, Tron, Ghostbusters 2016, the Thor movies and not much else of the MCU. The last movie I remember seeing in the theaters was Knives Out and that ruled.
Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: I do a lot of gaming! I mostly play Nintendo stuff but I'm all over the place. Mario Party, indie visual novels, the Yakuza series, retro JRPGs, Neopets, and lots and lots of Pokémon.
If you like to read, what do you read?: I do not really read much anymore, sorry. I know this is a big deal breaker for a lot of people, but I have aphantasia and therefore conjuring up mental images is not something I can readily do. It is much better for me to engage with media that has a visual component.
What kind of music do you listen to?: Basically if it falls into the "rock" umbrella I'll give it a try. These days I listen to a lot of 80s and 90s alternative, indie stuff from the 2000s, classic rock, hair metal, goth stuff, and punk/hardcore/emo remnants from my high school and college days. I have a satellite radio account that I love.

You can fact check or disagree - but be polite about it. I don't mind polite disagreement - I'm often wrong. Also outright racism, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny are deal breakers.

Writing, reading, TV, films, music, weaving, junk journal making, cooking, gardening, thrift shopping, cafes, markets, fairs, dinners, live gigs, penpaling. Some of these are not as frequent as they were, but I am hoping to get back into them.
Do you have any interests, that wouldn't fall under a hobby?: SLEEP.
Any dislikes?: Hatred, predjudice, far right wingness, Nazis, anti-science. Also tomatoes and okra.
Are you into fandom?: Not these days.
What does your day to day look like?: I get up, get dressed, have breakfast and check email, make sure my cat is fed and watered. Do what needs to be done in the house, if I have a medical appointment, go to that, or I sit outside with a pair of my elderly neighbors and chat. Have some lunch, keep going on my day, then have dinner, after dinner watch some TV, or YouTube, or Netflix, then go to bed. Reading may happen in there somewhere too. There is little structure. I have several health issues, one of them is chronic depression, so that determines a lot of what happens/doesn't happen.

What do you like to watch?:Whatever catches my interest on free to air TV, YouTube or Netflix. I love The Witcher, foreign TV shows, and I follow some true crime YouTubers who I find fascinating. Babylon 5 will always be my #1 love.

What does your day to day look like?: I'm still working from home mostly so on the days I'm at home it's roll out of bed, log on to work and then work (often forgetting to have my lunch break). On the days I'm in the office I usually leave home at 7.30am and don't get home until about 6pm. Days in the office are often spent getting frustrated because I get interrupted so much. Tuesday nights is band rehearsal. Weekends are usually spent catching up with my friend.

What do you like to watch?: I don't watch much current TV. I have a plethora of streaming services and yet still go back to old favourites like Castle and Psych.

What does your day to day look like?: I work in international relations in an office that I'm obligated to go to most days, so I get up, get dressed, wrestle my hair into something work appropriate, and carpool with my husband to work. I do interviews, go to meetings, take silly phone calls, solve problems, eat cafeteria food and occasionally go hide in my friends offices to get away from my staff until 5pm, go home, find something dinner-ish to feed the family, take a walk around the neighborhood, wrestle the kids into doing homework, knit/spin and watch TV or listen to a Podcast, tuck the 10 year old into bed, read for a while and then go to sleep. On the weekends, we try to get out and see something interesting although COVID has slowed our roll significantly.

What do you like to watch?: Overseas netflix is really different than US netflix, so my choices are super limited. I've been watching a lot of Korean and Chinese shows (Loved The Untamed, King: Eternal Monarch, Word of Honor, Nirvana in Fire, Vincenzo) and I tend to like historical stuff and trashy TV.

If you like to read, what do you read?: I'm reworking my way through all of Terry Pratchett's books right now. I like to read, we've got an overly full bookshelf at home that takes up the length of our living room.

What does your day to day look like?: I'm a stay at home mom to 2 kids, my son will be 7 in august and my daughter turns 3 tomorrow. They are unschooled so we don't necessarily stick to schedules and whatnot. When my husband comes home from work, he takes over and I work. I'm an independent certified translator (sp-en-fr).

What movies do you enjoy?: romcoms, thrillers, comedy, drama, action.

What do you like to watch?: I don't watch a lot of TV, but I like Law & Order:SVU, Modern Family, Sex Education & Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Since I've discovered podcasts about two years ago, I have rarely watched any shows though and I am hopeless at catching up.
What movies do you enjoy?: Anything starring Meryl Streep <3, Despicable Me series, Minions, The Secret Life Of Pets 1&2, If these walls could talk II, The Chinese Botanist's Daughters, Kinsey, Forrest Gump, Get Out, Escape Room...don't watch many movies either.
Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: I only play Pokemon Go, if you mean video/computer etc. games. I do like board games like Scrabble.

Some of my favourites are: Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, The Wrong Boy by Willy Russell, The Moth Diaries by Rachel Klein, Orlando by Virginia Woolf, The House of Night series by PC & Kristin Cast, The Department Q series by Jussi Adler Olsen (Danish crime thrillers), the Hunger Games series and many more!

What do you post about?: My daily life, basically. What I do in a day, thoughts and feelings, observations, stuff I've done. I also post a lot of pictures - I participate in Project 365 and make an entry with that week's pictures every Sunday. I was doing a 365 question meme too, but I'm so behind on that I am not sure if I will continue it. If I do, I am definitely not going to spam you with a question a day, but will pack a few into one post every couple days ;)
I also make a birthday entry for every one of my friends on the individual day. Lastly, I will fill out the eventual meme/survey, but not as much as to get annoying, or at least I hope so ;)
How often do you update?: Life gets busy, but I will try for at least 1 or 2 times a week.
What do you look for in a DW friend?: Kind, funny, nice and understanding people. Shared interests are a plus, but I also have made great friends online with whom I've had next to nothing in common :)
What do you like to read about on your friends page?: People's lives! I love getting a glimpse into what is going through people's minds, how they live, what moves them etc.

Do you have any deal-breakers?: I'm not a fandom person, so if your journal is all about that, I just won't have anything to say. Also, if you think one should "always stay positive" and life should be sunshine and puppies all the time, I may not be the right person for you - I do suffer of some mental health issues and while I've come a long way over the past couple years, I want to feel safe to express negative feelings here too. Bigotry isn't welcome either. Just don't be an asshole ;)
Is there anything others should know before friending?:
I'm asexual and childfree (which doesn't mean I hate children!) so if all you write about is your partner(s)/spouse and/or kids, maybe we won't be the best fit. Same goes for religion - I have the utmost respect for all beliefs but I am just not religious myself and won't have much to say to that kind of content.
