This friendzy was made to help those who are coming over from Livejournal! HOWEVER, you don't have to be coming over from livejournal to take part in this friendzy. Do you have any hobbies?: Sure do! I like reading, swimming, taking walks, hanging out with friends, travelling (if possible), taking pictures, playing with my cat, doing jigsaw puzzles, going to concerts (again, if possible), listening to music and podcasts...
Do you have any interests, that wouldn't fall under a hobby?: Social justice, library sciences, psychology, politics (though I don't post about the latter a lot), languages (have been learning Turkish with Duolingo for almost a year now), Pokemon Go, unicorns...
Any dislikes?: War, cruelty, bullying, closed-mindedness, bigotry in general (all the bad -ism's and -phobias, you know what I mean), right-wingers, anti-vaxxers, Covid deniers...just don't be a shitty person, please.
Are you into fandom?: No.
What does your day to day look like?: I will write about that on my DW, duh :P

Entertainment
What do you like to watch?: I don't watch a lot of TV, but I like Law & Order:SVU, Modern Family, Sex Education & Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Since I've discovered podcasts about two years ago, I have rarely watched any shows though and I am hopeless at catching up.
What movies do you enjoy?: Anything starring Meryl Streep <3, Despicable Me series, Minions, The Secret Life Of Pets 1&2, If these walls could talk II, The Chinese Botanist's Daughters, Kinsey, Forrest Gump, Get Out, Escape Room...don't watch many movies either.
Do you play games? If so, what do you like?: I only play Pokemon Go, if you mean video/computer etc. games. I do like board games like Scrabble.
If you like to read, what do you read?: I LOVE reading! Some of my favourites are: Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, The Wrong Boy by Willy Russell, The Moth Diaries by Rachel Klein, Orlando by Virginia Woolf, The House of Night series by PC & Kristin Cast, The Department Q series by Jussi Adler Olsen (Danish crime thrillers), the Hunger Games series and many more!
I used to love Harry Potter too, but I feel too uncomfortable reading/watching it now. No judgment on those who do, I just can't since I know what kind of person JKR is D:
What kind of music do you listen to?:

Journal & Friending
What do you post about?: My daily life, basically. What I do in a day, thoughts and feelings, observations, stuff I've done. I also post a lot of pictures - I participate in Project 365 and make an entry with that week's pictures every Sunday. I was doing a 365 question meme too, but I'm so behind on that I am not sure if I will continue it. If I do, I am definitely not going to spam you with a question a day, but will pack a few into one post every couple days ;)
I also make a birthday entry for every one of my friends on the individual day. Lastly, I will fill out the eventual meme/survey, but not as much as to get annoying, or at least I hope so ;)
How often do you update?: Life gets busy, but I will try for at least 1 or 2 times a week.
What do you look for in a DW friend?: Kind, funny, nice and understanding people. Shared interests are a plus, but I also have made great friends online with whom I've had next to nothing in common :)
What do you like to read about on your friends page?: People's lives! I love getting a glimpse into what is going through people's minds, how they live, what moves them etc.
Do you have any kind of friending policy?: I do not.
Do you have any deal-breakers?: I'm not a fandom person, so if your journal is all about that, I just won't have anything to say. Also, if you think one should "always stay positive" and life should be sunshine and puppies all the time, I may not be the right person for you - I do suffer of some mental health issues and while I've come a long way over the past couple years, I want to feel safe to express negative feelings here too. Bigotry isn't welcome either. Just don't be an asshole ;)
Is there anything others should know before friending?:
I'm asexual and childfree (which doesn't mean I hate children!) so if all you write about is your partner(s)/spouse and/or kids, maybe we won't be the best fit. Same goes for religion - I have the utmost respect for all beliefs but I am just not religious myself and won't have much to say to that kind of content.

Anything else?
I know I might come across as demanding and difficult, but I am actually a rather nice and friendly person. I look forward to meeting people from all walks of life <3

For some reason I just noticed that I had forgotten to fill out the music question and can't seem to edit...so here goes.

Some favourite artists of mine are A Day to Remember, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Rise Against, Florence and the Machine, Bring me the Horizon, Ed Sheeran, Chris de Burgh (yes really), George Ezra,Emilie Autumn...but I am very open when it comes to music. I'm just not very much into Jazz or most classical music (even though the latter is beautiful...just not a particular liking of mine).
