Hobbies and Interests
What are your current interests and/or hobbies?: boxing lessons, rock climbing, reading pretty much everything (I love both fiction and nonfiction.)
Do you participate in these hobbies or interests daily?: Reading, yes, boxing no because I would die. It's hard. Rock climbing as often as possible because I love it and though it's physical and tiring, it's also full of joy and zen. Also, I love ice hockey and baseball. My favorite teams are the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Is your hobby or interest your job? Would you like it into a job?: I currently have a 3 book contract for a mystery series and the first book will be published in April 2023. It's my real job, but I have two part-time jobs that I use to make ends meet. One with the local utilities company that is interesting and fun, the other as the HR liaison for my local rock gym.
If applicable, what's your greatest achievement/creation from a hobby or interest?: I have also written plays for a big portion of my life, and I've had numerous productions and won some awards. But now I'm writing novels, so I'm not sure what I'll be doing with plays.
Are there any hobbies you'd like to get into?: I'd like to have the time to do jigsaw puzzles again. I like puzzles. But right now I don't think I have time for other hobbies.
If you're into collecting something, what is it?: I buy way too many books and dvds. I have a large collection of plastic lizards, and I love dangly earrings.
Do you have a "main" hobby or interest, one that you participate in more than others?: Not really. I try to keep my life pretty balanced between the things I love.
Do you want more friends that participate in a specific hobby or interest? If so, what is it?: I'm interested in all kinds of people. I love the fandoms of Stargate Atlantis, X-Files, and Supernatural. I don't have any current show that I'm involved in fandom about - but I enjoy Resident Alien and Reacher.
Is there anything about your hobby or interest that annoys you?: Nope.
Do you participate in your hobby or interest for fun or relaxation? Both?: Both.
And lastly, do you prefer to participate in your hobby/interest alone or with someone? I'm good with either. But I do miss fandom. I haven't gotten involved in any new ones for years.

General Journaling
How often do you post?: It used to be daily, but lately has been more like 3-4 times a week.
Do you post about your interest or hobby? If not, what do you post about?: Oh yes. You'll definitely hear about baseball throughout the summer. Ice hockey during the Stanley Cup Finals.
What do you like to read about on your friends page?: I like to hear about other people's interests and what they're doing.
Do you post about fandom? If not, do you mind reading about it?: I love reading it, but I don't post much about it right now.
Do you have any deal-breakers?: The only deal breaker is being a dick. If you are a pain, I will likely just drop away.

I started taking lessons because I wanted to learn how to throw a punch. I've been doing it for 4 years now and I love it, and it's what keeps me fit.
