Hobbies and Interests

What are your current interests and/or hobbies?: Art! Writing (original + fanfic)! Making playlists + graphics/edits. I've made a foray into game programming and designing.

Do you participate in these hobbies or interests daily?: When I can! Usually I write at least a paragraph a day on a WIP or two.

Is your hobby or interest your job? Would you like it into a job?: Yes, art is my job -- or at least a part of it.

If applicable, what's your greatest achievement/creation from a hobby or interest?: I'm super proud of my upcoming visual/kinetic novel! Making one was something I shied away from for a while, but I had the perfect short story to work with, and I couldn't resist. I'll be sharing it next month, if I can find someone to beta-read the fic. DX

Are there any hobbies you'd like to get into?: Game design/programming seems pretty cool! One step closer to turning my stories into movies. lol I've been working with Ren'Py for the VN. Also maybe 3D modeling for environments?? I'd like to learn more about coding/CSS too, but every moment spent on something like that is a moment I spend not writing/drawing, so...

If you're into collecting something, what is it?: Memorabilia for my favorite musicians/characters/ships. If it something with a ton of merch, I'm more selective, but if there isn't much merch to be had, I'll buy anything. xD

Do you have a "main" hobby or interest, one that you participate in more than others?: Writing, I guess? It's easier to tap out a few sentences in my phone's notes app if I don't feel like opening Scrivener to write "for real."

Do you want more friends that participate in a specific hobby or interest? If so, what is it?: I'd love more writer friends, though sharing fandoms would be a plus. My problem is I can't find anyone with the time to read over my stuff, but I'm also kind of picky about who I let read it??

Is there anything about your hobby or interest that annoys you?: How much time it takes, lol. How I'm only able to focus on one fandom at a time, so other projects are sidelined when I get obsessed with one thing or another. The solitary nature of writing.

Do you participate in your hobby or interest for fun or relaxation? Both?: Both? Also making stuff for my ships is my roundabout way of starting a "aren't they so great?" conversation. Or trying to, at least. lol

And lastly, do you prefer to participate in your hobby/interest alone or with someone? I would love a writing/beta reader buddy!!!!! I'm not crazy about co-writing (too much of a control freak), but if you're the type of person who likes bouncing ideas around or sharing WIPs, give me a holler.


General Journaling

How often do you post?: Whenever I have something to share. Which isn't as often as I'd like. I try to keep posts limited to completed fics/art pieces, but when I'm desperate for interaction I'll post a silly meme or an image.

Do you post about your interest or hobby? If not, what do you post about?: 98% of my posts are things I've made. Art, fic, playlists, etc.

What do you like to read about on your friends page?: I love seeing other people's artwork, fics, creative stuff. Discussion posts about fandom and the like.

Do you post about fandom? If not, do you mind reading about it?: All my posts are fannish! I like reading other people's fannish posts, especially if it's a fandom I share.

Do you have any deal-breakers?: Just be nice. No kink-shaming/anti-shipping/purity police.
