>> I'm planning on reading more disability literature this year. <<
Lois McMaster Bujold is brilliant. There are also tidbits scattered throughout older stories, back before anyone thought it was particularly a big deal.
>>Currently planning the Lunar New Year celebration at my university. In the beginning stages of planning the university's Cherry Blossom festival.<<
That sounds cool. Not a lot of places in America have enough cherry trees for a festival.
>> I thought I would graduate in 2023, but I think I may have to postpone to 2024, which I'm very disappointed in.<<
Bummer. Personal mishaps have always occurred, but now the trend is that a "4-year" degree more often takes 5-6 due to colleges larding on unneeded classes and not making sure the requirements stack concisely.
>>Not exactly new, but I'm looking forward to getting back in baking again this year.<<
I enjoy baking.
>> I bought a KitchenAid mixer at long last!<<
Go you! They do have some nice attachments. I think the shredder is the one we use the most, for making squash bread.
>> I do celebrate Lunar New Year as a Chinese American person.<<
Just different traditions -- dragon dances, red envelopes, lucky rice, etc.
>>A friend invited me to rock climb (in a gym) two months ago, and I would like to continue rock climbing this year.<<
