The New Year Do you have any resolutions?: Oh... so many >.< Are there any new books, music, games, shows, etc. that you want to dive into?: I'm trying to think what's coming out in 2023... maybe the Community movie? And Our Flag Means Death season two Are there any small or big events that you're planning for this year?: I would like to attend vidukon_cardiff again Any new interests/hobbies that you'd like to try out?: I have been threatening to get into bookbinding for a few years now, so I'm going to try to bind at least one book Did you accomplish your resolutions from last year?: Some of them, but not all What were your favorite memories from the past year?: It was great travelling abroad for the first time in probably 10+ years Do you have any new years traditions?: Pre-pandemic, I used to go to my friend's house and we'd knit and watch Star Trek, but we haven't started that back up yet Is there anything you'd like to do more of in 2023?: I would like to travel some more, save more money, be more disciplined with my music practice, and keep better track of my various goals
The New Friends What kind of friend(s) are you searching for?: I'm neurodivergent, queer, trans and nerdy, so someone who was at least pro-that stuff would be pretty essential even if they didn't have a complete overlap of experiences What do you like to read about?: When I read pro-works it's usually science fiction, fantasy or non-fiction. In fandom... I like to read about my faves kissing >.> How often do you check your friends feed?: I go in and out of periods of using DW regularly, so when I am on regularly it would be a few times a day, but I have long periods of not checking in for a few months Do you have any deal-breakers?: Right wing politics Do you mind reading about fandom?: It would be rather hypocritical if I did! If so, what fandoms would you like to read about?: Star Trek, Karate Kid/Cobra Kai, Our Flag Means Death, Willow, Only Murders in the Building, Leverage (and Leverage: Redemption), Quantum Leap (1989 and 2022), A League of Their Own 2022 and whatever you're having yourself

Hey, I'm watching Leverage: Redemption as well, and I also do bookbinding! (I just started doing it and have made several little journals so far, it's really fun)
Oh, that's exciting! Are you in any bookbinding Discord servers? I'm in two, but I have mostly been too shy to join in. How are you enjoying Leverage: Redemption?
No, I myself have been way too afraid (and intimidated) to join any Discord servers. I think once I actually start printing my fanfic (which was my end goal; as of now my bookbinding projects have only had blank pages) I might join a server just to figure out printing. It's probably the hardest part, for me! Well, that and not gobbling up all the pretty bookbinding supplies I see on the Hollanders website...
I enjoy L:R a lot! I think Harry is a great addition to the team and though I was unsure on Breanna at first, I warmed up to her. (I just miss Hardison, lol.) Plus, they did that MLM episode, I think it's the most recent one or the one before the most recent one, and MLMs are one of my quote-unquote interests, so it was like, hey, perfect episode setup for me.
