The New Year
Do you have any resolutions?: just to be healthier overall
Are there any new books, music, games, shows, etc. that you want to dive into?: none specifically, but i do hope to be able to read more for fun. i read for a living, but it's not the same as cozying down with a book of your choosing.
Are there any small or big events that you're planning for this year?: taking a trip to ireland and scotland in march with a friend. potentially a trip to washington dc/arlington to lay my dad's ashes to rest.
Any new interests/hobbies that you'd like to try out?: nothing new, but i'd like to put more focus into my cross stitch/embroidery projects. i did very little of it in 2022 and i have some projects that need finishing, at the very least.
Did you accomplish your resolutions from last year?: (If not, that's okay. Just skip this one) i didn't make any resolutions for 2022. the end of 2021 was a traumatic, awful time for me and all i wanted to do was survive 2022. so i guess i did. /shrug
What were your favorite memories from the past year?: superficially: seeing the wombats in concert; deep down: settling into our new home.
Do you have any new years traditions?: asleep before midnight, haha
Is there anything you'd like to do more of in 2023?: read, write, move my body more

What kind of friend(s) are you searching for?: similar interests, kind, anti-ists, someone who interacts so it feels like a real friendship
What do you like to read about?: daily life, fun events, projects they're working on
How often do you check your friends feed?: daily
Do you have any deal-breakers?: if you voted for the cheeto (or any republican, honestly) at any point, if you believe it's OK to put others down or control other people, if all you post about is religion (any), or do the type of updates that's just reposting your tweets (do people still do that anyway?), we won't get along.
Do you mind reading about fandom?: i don't mind if it's there, but honestly, if it's something i'm not interested in, i skim or skip and don't interact.
If so, what fandoms would you like to read about?: i'm not really into fandoms.

Currently...
Reading: sin and syntax by constance hale
Watching: stuck in the middle of a lot of shows: andor, cabinet of curiosities, solar opposites, outlander, you, probably more i'm forgetting. i just started kevin can fuck himself last night.
Playing: world of warcraft; recently picked up wytchwood and would like to find time to play that
Thinking about: my work day, and regretting taking an extra day off for the holidays because i'm far behind now XD
Hobby/Interest: writing, cooking, puzzles
Planning for: aforementioned trip to ireland and scotland (and a half day in nyc)
