I must have read Matilda when I was a kid. My kids loved the original film, and now love the musical, so I thought it was time to read them the book.

I have read some of Roald Dahl's short story collections of adult fiction, which were brilliant, but not actually any of his children's books. No idea why.

I had a collection as a child and read them several times. I'm sure they would still work as an adult, they're such brilliant stories.
